A seagull caught a crab and lands on a mudflat to eat it.
The seagull on the right had been chasing the seagull on the left for about 10 minutes trying to get the crab. The seagull with the crab would fly to another spot in the saltmarsh only to be followed and harrassed by the other seagull as shown here.
The seagull on the right is fighting to keep the crab. The seagull on the left is fighting to take the crab from the other seagull.
The seagull on the right was successful in the food fight (see prior posting) and retained the crab it originally caught. But it's not over. The seagull poacher on the left continued to chase and harrass the seagull on the right.
The seagull on the left finally tired of the chase and harassment from the seagull poacher on the right and finally took action. The crab is on the ground next to the leg of the seagull on the left. Both seagulls survived. After the drubbing ended, the seagull on the right flew away for good and the seagull on the left got to eat its crab dinner in peace.
