Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) are hard to photograph in flight because they fly very fast and in erratic patterns. Today they were very active flying back and forth in front of me. I figured sooner or later I would get one in my frame that was sharp with no blur. This is the one I got.
The first time I saw an Egret standing on one leg as this Snowy Egret (Egretta thule) is doing, I thought something happened to its leg. But I later learned they do this to conserve body heat.
