When an Osprey dives for a fish, it goes into the water feet first making a big splash. It uses it wings to get to the surface as seen in this photo and then to get airborne. I'm always full of anticipation to see if the Osprey caught the fish.
Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) are hard to photograph in flight because they fly very fast and in erratic patterns. Today they were very active flying back and forth in front of me. I figured sooner or later I would get one in my frame that was sharp with no blur. This is the one I got.
