As the sun sets over my favorite salt marsh and the birds hunker down for the night, the setting sun lights up various spots in the salt marsh which then becomes dark as the sun moves on to highlight another spot. Here the sun highlights a mudflat in the foreground and the edge of the woods in the background. A colorful water reflection shines around the perimeter of the mudflat.
